ECHO SHADOW II is a rod designed for Euronymphing/Czech Nymphing. The rod has tremendous line feel and control, something that is required when nymphing. You should not only feel the bite from the fish, you should feel current edges, the bottom and everything else that tells you how your fly is drifting with the current. This rod gives you all that and more.
You have the option to buy the SHADOW II Competition kit. This includes a removable fighting butt, five 10 gram weights to balance the rod to your liking and two 6" extensions that you can use to give the rod additional length. See exactly what's included in the photos above.
Note: If you use a rod with a line that is not designed for Euronymph fishing, the manufacturer recommends that you go up a class on the line. For class #3 you should therefore choose a line in class #4.
