Whiting Coq de Leon Rooster Saddle is somewhat different from a regular rooster saddle. On this saddle, unlike a regular rooster saddle, you will find relatively short feathers with slightly longer fibers. The fibers are relatively stiff and resilient. The areas of use are many.
- As tail sprout for nymphs and dry flies.
- As body and front hackle on salmon and sea trout flies.
The feathers are between 7-17 cm with fibers around 1-2 cm.
