Orvis Battenkill Disc - Fly reel

New and updated Orvis Battenkill disc, a proven legend. Orvis did not touch on reliability and nature of work—those aspects are non-negotiable. Instead, the team worked to tighten tolerances for even smoother operation and updated key areas of the design such as improved drag dial feel, a curved reel foot that doesn't twist leaders, and new, subdued colors that complement the aesthetics of all Orvis fly rods. Includes the robust Hydros SL braking system, which includes six interacting carbon and stainless brake surfaces. The brake is simple and easy to adjust. Each reel is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with an ergonomic Delrin handle, and changing from left to right crank is easy. A true modern classic.
