Description
Sage Sense is a fly rod specially designed for European nymph fishing. Rod combines Euro Nymphing-specific action, optimized components and matte black blade that does not scare the fish. Equipped with Generation 5 technology in the blade, the action in Sage Sense begins with a soft top section for increased barrel protection leaders . When the top section is activated, it absorbs shock and prevents "bounce" that could otherwise break off your barrels leaders . Going down the length of the rod, the soft top gives way to a strong lower section that allows you to rod strong fish.
In addition to the specially designed blade, the Sense also has components and appearance optimized for euro nymph fishing. Single leg guide rings allow for a lighter and more sensitive fly rod, while the line guide ring has been optimized to hold the line tighter to the hand and blade, preventing unnecessary tangling and increasing control.
