Alta NGx Sonic Zip waders do not have classic seams where the material is punctured with a needle, but are welded with high frequency ultrasound technology and offer a superior level of waterproofness and best in class breathability. Despite strong materials, they remain flexible with outstanding mobility thanks to a smartly cut rear as well as heavily articulated knees, all to avoid resistance when you are active and moving. The outstanding waterproof TIZIP ® MasterSeal at the front and our Ergo Elevator™ suspenders with neoprene lining add to the unique features. Durable nylon-reinforced neoprene gravel protectors and anatomical Comfort Plus™ neoprene socks provide durability and performance to the wader's heavily exposed lower parts.
The fit is generous in the right places with articulated rear and knee areas, and we also built in a crotch wedge for increased strength and mobility. For maximum back and shoulder comfort, this wader is equipped with our elastic Ergo Elevator™ braces that are internally lined with cushioning neoprene. They are equipped with magnetic quick connectors and are fully adjustable in height to quickly convert to waist waders. The hangers also have dual Hypalon docking stations which are perfect for accessories you want to hang easily accessible on the front of the wader.
The upper edge of the wader is adjustable with an elastic cord to trap the heat inside when needed instead of letting it seep out. The renowned waterproof TIZIP ® MasterSeal zipper in the front ensures that the waders keep you dry year after year and make them easy to take on and off. Generous chest pockets on each side of the front provide plenty of space for fly boxes and here you'll also find two smart Tool Garage™ that close with a vertical zipper. There you can easily attach pegs, clippers and other smaller accessories for a clean, tangle-free front. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets are great when your hands need a little extra warmth and all pockets are equipped with splash-proof YKK Aquaguard® zippers. This means that these pockets also work well as safe storage for smaller items should the need arise.
Around the waist, the wader has three belt loops and a mute but still somewhat elastic belt. This allows you to attach heavier items such as tongs or a wading pole around your waist without any problems. The elastic gravel guard is made of nylon-reinforced neoprene and has a metal boot hook that attaches to your wading boot. In this wader we use our anatomical Comfort Plus™ neoprene socks for the best fit. On the inside of the wader there is a pocket with an Aquaguard® zipper that keeps your mobile phone in a splash-proof place, but note that these pockets are NOT completely waterproof if, for example, you fall into the water! The D-ring in the neck keeps your net easily accessible and a packing bag is included.
