Alta NGx wading boot with classic felt sole is designed to offer a new level of comfort, stability and durability. A supportive midsole and a stiff synthetic last provide good performance on rough terrain. Reinforcements in many places provide good resistance to wear from sharp stones in difficult wading waters.
Alta NGx wading boot is excellent for fishing where it is common to walk longer distances along rivers and lakes. The shoe provides an immediate sense of comfort, and all supportive materials are made from closed-cell materials to not absorb water while keeping the foot in a firm but comfortable grip. The outer material is strong and durable yet lightweight, made from recycled ripstop nylon. It ensures longevity while providing a light shoe during long fishing sessions. The toe and heel box are reinforced and here we've added embossed details where the thread is placed to avoid wear and tear, and there are TPU reinforcements along the bottom of the shoe.
A supportive midsole and a stiff synthetic last provide fine stability and allow the installation of studs in the outsole if desired. A classic felt sole provides good grip on many surfaces and is the given choice in the watercourses that have really slippery stones with a thin algae coating. The felt sole is both glued and fully stitched for best durability. The Alta NGx Wading Boot is also available with a Vibram® Idrogrip™ rubber sole.
